samba eXPerience 2012 - Samba 4 is finally there :-)
From May 8th to 11th 2012 developers and users will meet again in
Germany at the international Samba conference "samba eXPerience".
This year's event is about CIFS, clustering and directories again - but
with the difference that the first releases of Samba 4 is available in real
business offerings: A Samba 4 ready Debian is available at SerNet for free.
The final conference program will be published until easter and includes
after the usual one day tutorial and the two day conference a new
established barcamp on Friday 11th of May. Here you may meet the team and
discuss your issues on a whole day with your own schedule!
CTDB and clustering ("private clouds"), SMB2 and Windows8 are other main
topics for team and participants, among them speaker from Microsoft that
will talk about future releases and plans for Windows clients and servers.
The tutorial will take place on Tuesday, 8th of May and will deal with the
integration of Samba 4 in UCS - univention corporate server.

Chairman of the sambaXP is again John Terpstra, early Samba Team member
and well known author regarding Samba and related fields. His keynote will
cover 20 years of Samba.
