Any news about the Google/Motorola patents?

Can Google just refuse to license their H.264 patents and sue everyone shipping H.264 products, unless the MPEG-LA is disbanded, and all their video compression patents and mobile device patents licensed for free forever to everyone?

Most/all the H.264 patent holders seem to sell actual products using it, so perhaps this could really either free H.264 or kill it?
