Quite. It's the 1.16.1.2 package that people should beware of.

I don't think that's correct at all. I believe it's versions like 1.16.2~wipmultiarch, in experimental, that may cause problems.

Going from sid 1.16.1.2 to sid 1.16.2 should be fine. The case where you may run into problems is if you installed some non-official, experimental, or Ubuntu version in between the two sid versions.
