forgot to mention, that it is only the cvs 2.6 branch that compiles.

You can get them like this:

$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.berlios.de:/cvsroot/at76c503a login
(hit return on the prompt)
$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.berlios.de:/cvsroot/at76c503a co at76c503a
$ cd at76c503a
$ cvs up -r kernel_2_6
