Netflix's rival will reach the same conclusion as Netflix: few people use Netflix on a desktop computer and hardly anybody has a Linux desktop computer and it costs money to develop and maintain Linux capability. The best thing that could happen to Netflix is that its rivals spend more money than they make on something.
