We are very pleased to announce the first annual Desktop Linux
Conference, which will take place on November 10, 2003, at
Boston University's Corporate Education Center in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts.

The conference will bring together industry leaders to share their insights and
discuss the trends, technologies, and solutions that are driving the next generation of desktops
to be based on open standards.

The agenda offers business and technical tracks, as well as related forums covering a
variety of topics regarding Linux technologies, security, government adoption, and
emerging trends. Hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions will also be
featured.

We are working on finalizing a speaker list and an agenda now; we hope to have the
full information available by September 15th, 2003.

The full press release is located here:

host the conference.

Space is limited, so sign up now!

Cheers,

Jeremy White

Announcing the first Annual Desktop Linux Conference

Why do people continue to do that? This is a news ANNOUNCEMENT and it concluded with "Space limited so HURRY!" Wouldn't that have more impact if we had all known this was coming - and in fact the reservations were beginning to mount?

However - it looks like a great conference and if I can break away I'll do my best to be one of those taking up the space.
