My sentiment is similar. If I get an ARM server under my jurisdiction, I will probably install Debian, as I don't see the big benefit of Ubuntu on a server.

However, I see Ubuntu/Canonical mainly as the commercial arm (no pun intended) of Debian, so I don't mind their own-horn-tooting too much. 95% of that horn is still made by Debian.
