I was surprised to read that this was fixed on Fedora 16. With the latest xkeyboard-config update (2.3-3.fc16) I can still unlock the KDE lock-screen with Ctrl+Alt+KeypadMultiply.

Might be worth checking your XKB settings with setxkbmap -print for the grab:break_actions option. If it isn't in there and you can still break grabs, please file a bug and assign it to me.
