Of course we are working together on Codec2. David's girlfriend kindly hosted David, myself, Jean-Marc Valin (Speex, Opus), and Tim Terriberry (Theora, CELT) at her home for several days after the conference. Jean-Marc added statistical methods to the Codec2 codebook training during the visit, making the compression about a third better at equivalent signal-to-noise.
