First version of kmod released

The gains come from not needing to start a new process for each invocation. Running them from bash negates this entirely. The binary itself being slower probably reflects performance tuning in the old modprobe that hasn't been duplicated in the new one, and I believe there was a mention above that there's some additional debugging temporarily enabled to help uncover any lingering problems.
