Ubuntu disabling the [proprietary] Sun Java JDK browser plugin

I must say I am happily surprised that Oracle now seems to explicitly push the GPLed OpenJDK+IcedTea[Web] offering over their proprietary builds. It is nice to see the community work on the free alternative webstart jnlp, applet viewer and plugin being recognized as easier to maintain and keep secure.
