Funnily enough, I don't see a big performance difference between the KMail of KDE 3.5 and that of KDE 4.x. (Actually, I'd expect my KDE 4.x KMail to be quite a bit faster than my KDE 3.5 KMail because it is running on a much beefier machine. Something must be eating up the difference, I wonder what that might be
