Dear Sir,

A new version of Chrome OS Linux has been just released. It is a
lightweight Linux distribution based on openSUSE with GNOME desktop and
the latest Google Chrome 17 web browser. Version 1.7.932 RC introduces
much anticipated Google Music Manager. Both ISO and RAW disk images are
available for download from http://getchrome.eu. Chrome OS Linux is
independent from Google Chrome OS and was developed ealier.

I would like to ask if you could write about this open source Linux
distribution on your website? I would be grateful!

Regards,

Andrew

The torrent is stalled (and the tracker server times out), and the two download sites shown on http://getchrome.eu/download.php are 3rd-party mirrors who want either a paid subscription or free registration (with hideously slow download speed). I think I'll pass.

Take down. Chrome is a Google Trademark, right?

That was my first thought, too. Should have called it Chromium OS.

Yeah, except there might be a small name clash with the actual ChroniumOS/ChromeOS.
