Are they really after the GPL? Maybe there just prodding the community with a cattle prod just to see how well it can respond? Maybe they using the community for cheap research to highlight the weaknesses and strengths of the opposition? Maybe they want to keep everyone distracted from the real issues, whatever they are? That last one would make sense. I bet they haven't even shown there trump cards to the NDA signers.
