Yes. The "I'm right, your way is wrong" attitude is why Calibre soon got uninstalled here after trying it.

Are there currently any decent alternatives ? Particularily for those of us who have a need for cross-platform compatibility ?
I don't much care for Calibre - but is *does* make it possible for me to share a library with my wife who is on Windows, and have things just work.
Are there any other solutions that'd work better ?
