x86 only, hope xbmc someday can finally get a working arm version.

Is there anything special about getting XBMC working on arm?
There are packages for Debian systems created by Christian Marillat (see http://www.debian-multimedia.org/dists/unstable/main/bina...).
At least the ones for PowerPC (an "odd-ball" arch) seem to work on my iBook G4 (well, to the extent that the radeon driver lets it, anyway---even mplayer is causing it to crash).
I would point it to the bug in kernel.org's bugzilla, but it seems that it was not yet restored.

It's being worked on. I imagine it will be announced within the next two major releases
