What I wonder is why they don't use GHNS - http://ghns.freedesktop.org/ - or whatever the latest version is of that... It gets you wallpapers, scripts, extensions, icon themes, emoticons and all that stuff in KDE apps. Guess having a common API and not reinventing the wheel would be worthwhile?
