And when did SMP go into Unix?I don't know my timelines, but it's quite possible - and reasonable - that Caldera asked Alan's permission to put his SMP code into Unix. Seeing as it was their money that helped pay for the code to be written (and helped pay for Alan's reputation) it would have been extremely churlish for him to have refused! OK, I'm likely wrong. But these things are happening so fast, people take time to respond, and it wouldn't surprise me if Alan is only now waking up to this story (it seems to have happened during our night ...) Cheers,
