Finally Posted Aug 28, 2003 12:54 UTC (Thu) by alspnost (subscriber, #2763) [Link] This is starting to look good, and I'm glad it's finally coming to fruition. Sun's desktop offerings under Solaris are still rather pitiful (including their new Gnome 2.0 environment), and Mad Hatter will finally go some way to addressing this. We are a Solaris world here at the office, and we desperately need a decent, easy-to-integrate desktop.Maybe it's just me, but isn't it telling that they are releasing the Linux version before the Solaris one?
