If memory serves me correctly, I thought SCO already "clarified" some time ago that it wasn't about copyright issues but instead the whole thing was just a contract dispute between themselves and IBM. Remember, contracts were weapons to be used against your customers and business partners!
Oh well I suppose that had to go out the window. Maybe IBM's murmur of a response turned SCO off that line of attack...
