One less player in mobile device market. The market will be the battleground between Apple and Google (plus its minions). No sign of Windows Phone army.

I think that bada is very interesting platform, because is sponsored from Samsung, i think they increase their markert share up to 10%:
"Bada’s overall market share jumped from .9 percent to 1.9 percent, but that’s still better than Microsoft’s take, which fell from 4.9 percent (mostly consisting of legacy Windows Mobile users) to 1.6 percent."

Except that Bada is an annoying platform to develop for, and can't say it it stable either (we'll see what 2.0 brings)

I know, but it's native so is perfect for low spec, low cost device. Here in italy you can find wave lite for 76 euro and the 3g variant for 155 euro.

Bada..., your reply has reminded me.

The recent Motorola Mobility acquisition by Google can become a really strong reason to seriously develop Bada further to be on par with Android/iOS, although it is unlikely that Google will try to alienate its allies.

The more the merrier.. except for the nasty fragmentation that leads to duplicated efforts and incompatibilities.

You may be right. The next announcement will be a Windows mobile based touchpad by HP. At least someone will pay money for it. (M$ will pay HP to use its platform.)

Sad to see WebOS go.
