Linguists shouldn't pretend be competent designers of computer languages. Dear god.With someone creating Perl [or php ftm] not anything to do I don't think, the lesson has. Neither at what someone does claiming to be an authority, it has. At persuading many people to choose one of their languages, the real computer language designers apparently failed.We could call this the Perl Lesson.
