No, bsd don't use ALSA, because it's a Linux tech. Btw. I can't even play two streams simultaneously on crap like oss. It's legacy not without the reason. ALSA works perfect with my hardware. In the future bsd will become something like emulator software - you will run native Linux programs on top of Linux's emulation layers.
