This "supposedly" highlights the main flaw in the study. Code that everyone runs is not equivalent to code that is barely used.

The code is there. Patch it to e.g. use popularity data from popcon ( http://popcon.ubuntu.com/ ). Not the best, but gives some idea at what users actually use (well: what users actually have installed. And not exactly all users. But it's a start).
