This is probably the entirely wrong place to ask about this but I thought I'd mention; I just installed these images and flash-kernel is still broken:
hwpack_linaro-lt-mx53loco_20110527-0_armel_supported.tar.gz linaro-natty-alip-tar-20110527-0.tar.gz
I commented out the 'exit 0' in the check and everything works OK now.
