Rapid-release idea spreads to Firefox 5 beta (CNet)

Stephen Shankland takes a look at the beta for Firefox 5. "Firefox 5 beta's big new feature is support for CSS animations, which let Web developers add some pizzazz to actions such as making dialog boxes pop up or switching among photos. Also in the new version is canvas, JavaScript, memory, and networking, according to the release notes and bug-fix list."

The LessChrome HD extension is pretty nice for netbook user by saving more vertical space. I think Mozilla can include it in Firefox 5 but not enabled by default.

The next step is of course: NoChrome HD (hide tab bar, title bar, scroll bar, add-on bar) AKA full screen mode.

The problem w/ F11 is lack of quick access to omnibar, i.e. Alt+D, Ctrl+L, F6 don't work here, same for searching, i.e. Ctrl+E, Ctrl+K, menu access, i.e. Alt+E, Alt+F, and so on... At least developer tools are accessible via Ctrl+Shift+I or F12 (and similarly javascript console via Ctrl+Shift+J).

Your post has some resemblance with English, but I can't quite figure out what it means. If it is intended as a bug report (which I suspect), http://bugzilla.mozilla.org would be a far more appropriate place.

I know, it's hard to imagine, but the average human being does not have English as a native language, me included. So yes, this is the internet. In contrast to your school yard, the internet and especially lwn.net does have an international audience. So if you feel you have to say something, it seems only wise to try to do it in a way, most people can understand it. If you don't have anything to say, please find some other place to dump your characters.

lwn.net is still a place where reading comments is actually useful. Please let's try to keep it that way.

Some comments are by people whose first language is not English and who are trying their best to make themselves understood. But I'm guessing that you are not in that category: your first language is English. If so, your lack of interest in communicating clearly to others (who may not be native speakers) is, frankly, discourteous.
