| [Swsusp-devel] Announce: 1.1-pre3 |

Hi all.
Now being uploaded to Sourceforge is 1.1-pre3. Since some of the option
patches are updated, this is a complete .tar.gz package.
Changes:
- Capable of doing more than 100 async I/Os. I didn't see any
performance improvement with 200 or 300, but if you have a flasher I/O
system than me, you might. That is, YMMV.
- Debugging of block sizes != 4096. NOTE THAT THIS DOESN't MEAN
BLOCKSIZE != 4096 IS WORKING! If you use swsusp on a filesystem with
blocksize not 4096, expect to spend time reloading your system. It
almost works, but almost is definitely not "It works".
- Itimer alarm signals (SIGALRM) suppressed for suspended processes.
(Timer left going though). This removes one more (but probably not the
last!) cause of memory being allocated during suspend.
- New resume_blocksize parameter which will be used to specify the
blocksize of the filesystem for the resume= device. Don't use it yet.
- Fix for status display during freezing processes.
- Reorder steps in eat & freeze to speed things a little.
- Made swsusp keys work right from the start of the process.
