Yea, though now I can't prove otherwise since 'too many people are viewing the document'.
But anyways obviously if pottering says it doesn't use HAL then it wouldn't. So that's good. Certainly though you need some way to establish which mouse goes with with seat. Unless you have the esoteric hardware it references that's impossible to do automatically.

It just mentions HAL as an example of a transition. Basically, it says switching out CK should be easier than switching out HAL was. That's it.
