I'm in the same boat. Furthermore I'd advise anyone who isn't being given substantial monetary compensation for such contributions to fork the software rather than sign such an agreement.

I agree. Maybe an alternative to money would be getting voting rights in the organization that receive the agreement with each contributions and require that some actions of the organization (including relicensing) be subject to a vote with says, at least 35% quorum and 65% voters approval.

That's an interesting idea. I wonder how people would decide how many voting rights you get for a given contribution, though? By voting, I guess! I would be interested to see someone try something like that.
