GNU's Nabbed Unix?

Sounds about right:
"Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)"
Nab Nab, v. t. imp. & p. p. Nabbed; p. pr. & vb. n.
Nabbing. Dan nappe, or Sw. nappa.
To catch or seize suddenly or unexpectedly. Colloq.

How ironic would that be if the FSF ended up owning the UNIX patents etc.?
IIRC was it not the issues of UNIX patents and NDAs that caused RMS to start the FSF and GNU project all those years ago?
