Does this mean that SCO is definitely claiming to own some rights over the a GNU/Linux system, and that anyone who buys this license can sue them when they turn out not to have any such "intellectual property"?

They are keeping the revenues from the licenses in an escrow account until
the suit with IBM is resolved.

I think, actually, they are saying that they have the right to sell their rights to a bridge in Brooklyn.

All this licence is is a quitclaim.
