It's not warning you about a bug: it's telling you that bug will never be fixed. That's a bit different.

Well, from the email thread, it sounds like it sorta-kind-pretty-much works, and that they'd be perfectly happy for *you* to fix any such issues...just that they're tired of tracking down such things.
