The end of OpenID?

Does anyone know what's happening with Mozilla's Account Manager plugin (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave/Identity/Account_Manager)? Their web-site shows 0.0.10 as the latest release (2010.03.05), but it's a broken link. There's no obvious link to a mailing list or bug tracker, and OpenID support is listed as a low priority future feature.

I also found Verisign's Seatbelt (https://pip.verisignlabs.com/seatbelt.do), but it seems to require custom support from the OpenID provider, and Sxipper (http://www.sxipper.com/), which I couldn't get to work.

Having a Login button in the browser chrome would be really useful. Then I wouldn't have to type my OpenID, somehow check that I'm not being phished, and confirm that, yes, I really do want to log in to this site.
