With working Mobile IP designed into IPv6 from the beginning, fixing the 'triangle routing' problem, why would we need it?

Sctp has been around for years with support for multihoming, but I personally do not see tcp being replaced any time soon. Look at the ipv6 situation and the only reason it is coming into use is out of necessity.
