I'm quite impressed by your ability to determine the C-ishnes of a program by running it, especially when running by clicking an icon.
Really! It would so cool to say "That's clearly a program written in C" Just by looking at it, the amount of street cred from fellow students would be awesome.
Can you teach me? How does C-ishness look like? Compare to say C++-ishnes or Python-ishnes?

As a beginning language diviner, I suggest you start by recognizing Javaishness, it's really easy. Just count the seconds from program start to main screen appearing.
