Nothing annoys me more than people whining in public fora about bugs that they haven't even bothered to report to the developers.

You may not like it, but it's not something to fight against: people rarely report problems do developers. If the car's steering wheel is too tight you may find the information on forum for said car, but rarely (if ever) it'll be reported to developers. People apply the same logic to the software, too.

If you think it's alloying it's your right, but try to change the people in this regard is as futile as the try to force everyone to use "GNU/Linux" term.
