conf.kde.in is being organised by the KDE-India community from March
9th to 11th 2011. This is the first KDE conference in India. KDE-India
is a group of volunteers who are a part of the global KDE community.
They have been meeting up at various Free and Open Source Software
events in India and abroad. Over the last few years, there has been a
substantial increase in contributions to KDE from India. There has
also been a lot of participation as part of programmes like Google
Summer of Code and Season of KDE from the Indian student community.
This conference is aimed at creating a forum for all KDE contributors
(especially from India) to gather and collaboratively share ideas. The
conference is being planned in such a way that it has "something for
everyone"- be it a seasoned KDE/Qt devel or a student who is
interested in contributing and learning.

The Call for Participation request is out. For more details do visit
