Your certs are probably for something like hostname.office.mycompany.com, which is perfectly fine.
A cert for the IP address "192.168.0.1" though, is *NOT* fine, there's no way a CA could possibly verify that you own that address (since, well, you don't).

certs are generally not issued for IP addresses in the first place, be they public IP addresses or private IP addresses.
