Missing Xfce 3Missing Xfce 3Posted Jan 6, 2011 14:09 UTC (Thu) by markhb (guest, #1003)Parent article: A first look at Xfce 4.8 I'll admit that Olivier and co. have done a lot of really great work on Xfce 4, but to be honest I miss the CDE look and feel that they were going for in the 3.x and earlier releases. I particularly miss the larger panel and the Motif look. No, I'm not being sarcastic or trolling; I just really wish that someone (I'm definitely not qualified) would pick up the older version and maintain it as a CDE clone given that there's no actual CDE for Linux currently available.
