Last time I compared ext3 vs reiserfs on a large RAID array which was about to go into production, reiserfs corrupted itself and proved unrecoverable. Needless to say ext3 worked fine and has been deployed on a very heavily used mail system (1M user webmail) for 18 months now without any error. Rich.
