Things to see at LinuxWorld 2003

LinuxWorld starts next Monday, and for those who are attending here are a couple of press releases that might be of interest.

Red Hat's Matthew Szulik will deliver a keynote address on Tuesday, August 5.

VIA Technologies has announced a live demonstration of "Centibots", SRI's Linux-based robots. The robots will roaming about the VIA booth and at the "Taste of Linux Theatre" event on August 6 where they will navigate a course to find a hidden Linux penguin doll.

That "Centibots" demo sounds really cool. I wish I was going to LinuxWorld just to see that. I happen to be using the exact same motherboard (VIA EPIA M10000) in my own Linux-based open robot design: Open Automaton Project.
