So there has been some research on non-determinism in systems these days. I tried a while ago to find determinism in the timer interrupt and couldn't find any but it seems the non-determinism is even more than I imagined. Using this as entropy seems like an excellent idea.

remember that non-deterministic does not necessarily give you very much entropy. something may be non-deterministic, but almost always produce one result on a particular system.
