Version 0.8.2 of SBCL has been released. This is mostly a bug fix release,
with changes featuring an improved MACHINE-VERSION, better ANSI compliance,
optimizations to character compare routines, and improved disassembler
functionality on PPC.

SBCL (Steel Bank Common Lisp) is a Common Lisp implementation originally
forked from CMUCL (CMU Common Lisp) which puts a greater emphasis on
maintainability. SBCL runs under Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Tru64 on x86,
Alpha, MIPS, PPC and SPARC CPUs.
