The use of "GNU/Linux" is uplifting.

I've been thinking of writing an editorial-style article: "Free Software - Are YOU doing your bit?". For submital to the usual suspect sites.

anyone got any recommendations for good points or avoidable pitfalls?

My hope would be to point out the need for speakers, people contacting the press, people lobbying their governments, or at the very least, encouraging people to join their local Free Software/digital-freedom group.
