Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Release Candidate Available to Partners

Red Hat has announced the limited availability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Release Candidate. "The Release Candidate is available to a small set of strategic testing partners, including our OEM partners, and Red Hat's independent software vendor (ISV) partners. We encourage all of our ISV partners to enable our joint customers to experience the significant enhancements in performance, reliability and security offered in this version of what is intended to become our new flagship platform by accelerating testing and final certification of ISV offerings on the Release Candidate. We expect no further changes to the ABI or API that might otherwise affect application compatibility as we finalize Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and make it generally available later this year."

I am an ISV partner and I cannot find directions for accessing the RC. Anyone else?

Those are links to beta1 and beta2, which were publicly available. The release candidate is only available to "a small set of strategic testing partners ..." (from the press release).

Note that current Red Hat ISV partners have been invited to be a part of the Release Candidate process. Email invitations have been sent out with specific instructions. If you have not received your invitation you may want to check your spam filters.

You can also join the RHEL6-isv mailing list here:
https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhel6-isv

Joining this mailing list will allow you to get all the email communication for partners that are looking to test on the Release Candidate.

Thanks! I've applied for the RC.

Somewhat OT, I'm surprised to see spam on https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhel6-isv :-)

Hmm,
I am on the rhel6-isv mailing list and I have not seen any spam; this is odd.

Redhat doesn't have very good spam filters. You think that is bad? You should see the utrace-list, which is about 50/50 spam to patches:

I have changed the moderation on the rhel6-isv mailing list now.
All inbound email will be reviewed prior to posting.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
