lca2011 Announces Successful Miniconfs

The 2011 linux.conf.au Miniconf Organisers have announced the mini-conferences that will be held at lca2011 in Brisbane, Australia. The mini-conferences will be held on January 24-25, 2011. While the call for miniconf proposals is over, it may not be too late to submit a proposal to speak at a particular miniconf. "A number of Miniconf organisers have settled on a deadline of Friday 22 October for their CFP; and are publicising that deadline in their CFP statements, and we will include that information here on our LCA2011 website. Using this common deadline is up to individual organisers, but it will make communications easier for paper submitters and also should simplify things for us on the LCA2011 team." See the individual miniconf pages for specific deadlines and requirements.

lca2011 Miniconf Talk Proposals

Those that are interested in proposing talks at the Miniconfs should either go to the announcement page, which has links to the calls for papers, or go to the main miniconf page which also has links to the calls for papers. (Unfortunately the second link in the article, titled "submit a proposal", points at the page of information for miniconf organisers, and does not have links to the chosen miniconfs.)

I expect most, if not all, of the Miniconfs would be keen to hear from more potential speakers. The Sysadmin Miniconf certainly would welcome more talk proposals.
