Correction?

While I think there was a Moblin based Ubuntu, the Ubuntu Netbook Edition (Remix) used Canonicals own Netbook launcher with a few panel/metacity enhancements.

Yes, you're correct; Ubuntu didn't ship a Netbook version based on Moblin; there were versions based on Moblin 1 and Moblin 2, but Moblin was used in neither Ubuntu Netbook Remix nor in Ubuntu Netbook Edition releases.
