Let me be the first to heap adulation and praise upon Patrick and his jolly fellows... Slackware 3.0 was my introduction to Linux on a 16MHz 386SX with 8M of RAM, and it ran my employer's email (via uucp), Mac filesharing with netatalk, web services testing, and internal DNS for several years before the hardware finally gave up the ghost (it had been resurrected from its grave in the attic to run Slack). Since then I've been pleased to buy each new release and I've never been disappointed. Even now I'm writing this from a system I installed yesterday from the -current tree, and it's a beautiful thing. :-)

Anyway, best wishes and thanks for 10 years (or in my case, 8 years) of solid Slacking. I look forward to installing Slack 10 on an Athlon 64 in the future. :-)
