Kernel release status

The current development kernel remains 2.6.35-rc3; Linus is on vacation so the flow of patches into the mainline is stalled for now.

There have been no stable updates since 2.6.32.15 on June 1.

Does anyone know why there have not been any stable updates since 4 weeks? Lack of time?

2.6.24 is perfect and needs no stable updates.

Or even 2.6.34.
