TERRA SOFT SHIPS YELLOW DOG LINUX 2.3

Loveland, Colorado -- 27 June 2002 -- Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., the leading
developer of integrated PowerPC Linux solutions ships Yellow Dog Linux 2.3,
the latest update to the company's flagship product.

Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 offers the new KDE 3 desktop which provides a number of
high-tech features such as GUI 'translucency' --another leap in the Linux
user experience.

YDL 2.3 defaults to the CUPS print system: a simple, web-based configuration
tool for high-quality support for a wide-range of printers.

In addition, YDL includes 'apt-get' to replace 'yup!' as a simple, proven,
automated update utility that enables the user to keep their installed system
current. apt-get provides intelligent, automatic dependency handling to help
reduce the hassles involved in package management.

YDL 2.3 offers the following updates:
         kernel 2.4.19
         KDE 3.0.1
         OpenOffice 1.0
         CUPS print system
         apt-get for RPM
         Mozilla 0.9.9
         Galeon 1.2
         Evolution 1.0.5
         AbiWord 1.0.2
         Netatalk 1.5.3.1
